A Massac County man has been incarcerated on charges of beating and shooting at another person.

37-year old Delman Elmore was arrested after Massac County Deputies received reports of shots being fired. A man who had reportedly been assaulted also had a bullet hole in his clothing.

Elmore was arrested after he was spotted by authorities near Metropolis.

Elmore is currently incarcerated in the Massac County Detention Center pending a bond hearing later today.
