Friday night Murphysboro boys' basketball coach Daryl Murphy collected his 600th career win with a 63-54 win at Massac County. Voice of the Red Devils, Matt Varney, met up with Murphy after the win to discuss the game and winning 600 games.
The Du Quoin Indians were selected as the Team of the Week after a 28-14 win over Murphysboro that improved them to 5-4 on the season and earned them the 10 seed in the 3A Southern Bracket of the IHSA Playoffs.
