One person is under arrest following a drug raid of a Mt. Vernon home. Mt. Vernon Police say more arrests are expected.

According to authorities, 21 year old Chastity Robinson was arrested early Thursday morning after members of the Mt. Vernon Police Department and the Narcotics Division of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant of a home on Forest Avenue.

Inside the home, police found narcotics, drug paraphernalia, and ammunition.

Robinson is being held in the Jefferson County Justice Center on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug equipment, and possession of ammunition without a FOID card.
