Count the Illinois Farm Bureau among the people happy to hear of the passage of the Trade Promotion Authority by the United States House of Representatives.

In a statement, farm bureau President Richard Guebert said the passage “breathes new life into the nation’s vital trade agenda,” and urges Congress to “complete its work on TPA and related trade legislation so our negotiators are equipped to bring home the best possible deal for American agriculture.”
