A whistle-blower lawsuit involving Congresswoman Tammy Duckworth now has a set trial date.

Duckworth is alleged to have retaliated against two employees of the Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs while working under former Gov. Rod Blagojevich. The employees were working at the Anna Veterans’ Home.

Duckworth allegedly violated state ethics rules and inflicted emotional stress on the two employees.

The trial has been set for April 4, 2016. A pre-trial hearing is scheduled for August 4th at the Union County Courthouse.
