Five people are behind bars in connection with a stabbing Sunday morning in West Frankfort.

22-year old Logan Cook, and 23-year old Kelsey Cook, both of Vandalia, 23-year old Cody Grove of Mulkeytown, 23-year old Chance Pauls of West Frankfort, and 21-year old Seth Murphy of West Frankfort were all arrested on Aggravated Battery charges.

Authorities say the incident occurred after a bar fight which then moved out into a road.

39-year old Eric Hayes and 27 year old Renee Stilley suffered stab wounds and were flown to St. Louis for treatment.
