Yesterday authorities confirmed a murder-suicide which took place Friday night in Marion.

42-year old Daniel Blaise and 43-year old Amy Smith Blaise were pronounced dead at 1:40 am Saturday by Williamson County Coroner Michael “Junior” Burke.

An autopsy shows that Amy Smith Blaise died from a single gunshot wound. Her death was ruled a homicide. According to authorities, Daniel Blaise died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Authorities have said that the investigation is complete.
