Two Marion men have been charged with meth possession and other charges after they were stopped in Energy for multiple traffic violations.

The officer who had stopped the car then determined that both men may have been under the influence of alcohol or other drugs.

After completing field sobriety tests, the driver of the car, 28-year old Andrew Bloodworth of Marion was arrested for driving under the influence.

It was during an inventory of items in the car when officers found several items related to the making of meth.

The vehicle’s passenger, 25-year old Cody Parks of Marion was then arrested.

Bloodworth was also charged with possession of a hypodermic syringe; possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of meth; and unlawful purchase of meth manufacturing materials.

Parks was charged with Possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of meth manufacturing materials; and possession of meth.

Both men are incarcerated in the Williamson County Jail.
