Anna, Ill. – Three students at Anna-Jonesboro High School are being expelled for allegedly bullying a fellow football player.

The Anna-Jonesboro Community High School District #81 School Board announced the decision late Monday night after a three-hour executive session.

The board upheld the five-day suspension of a fourth student.

The Southern Illinoisan reports the four students are accused of holding a sophomore football player down, tying him and dousing him with water in the locker room showers.
