A Murphysboro man will see prison time after stealing a purse from a home.

23-year old Deandrelin Davis’ conviction stems from a burglary at a home in Murphysboro, after a woman had reported that her home was broken into and her purse was gone.

Shoe imprints helped lead to Davis’ capture. Davis was sentenced to nine years in a state prison, with two years of supervised release immediately after.
