Screen Shot 2014-05-21 at 11.27.19 AMA Murphysboro man was charged with multiple counts of child pornography on Monday.

48 year old Richard Taylor was arrested by Murphysboro Police and investigators with the Illinois Attorney General’s office as part of “Operation Glass House,” which goes after the most active offenders downloading and trading child pornography.

A search warrant was executed in Taylor’s home in the 1500 block of Oak Street.

Taylor has been charged with 4 counts of distribution of child pornography, a class X felony, and six counts of possession of child pornography, a class 2 felony.

His bond was set at $750,000, and Taylor remains in custody as of Thursday.
