Carbondale, Ill. – A former high school band director has pleaded not guilty to illegally videotaping a teenager.
40-year-old Michael Todd Norrington faces a felony charge of unauthorized video recording. He also asked for a jury trial in court Thursday.
Prosecutors accuse Norrington of taking photos up a 14-year-old girl’s shorts with his cell phone camera inside the Carbondale Goodwill Store.
Norrington had been the band director at Carterville High School since 1997. He resigned in June after the allegations surfaced regarding the illicit photos.
