Tuesday we reported about Cheryl Cundiff, the Williamson County Deputy Clerk who was one of three women who reportedly stole around $80,000 from the Williamson County Circuit Clerk’s office.

Cundiff pleaded guilty to one count of theft and one count of official misconduct, but it has been learned that Cundiff had two original felony charges dropped in exchange for the guilty plea.

Cundiff will not see any prison time on the conditions that she pay back $25,000 in restitution, and that she stay out of trouble for the next four years while on probation.

Cundiff reportedly apologized at the hearing on Monday and immediately paid $5000 towards her restitution.
