The Carbondale Splash Park went to the ducks on Saturday as more than a thousand rubber duckies raced in the lazy river.

The rubber ducks were available for purchase for a few weeks before the Duck Derby. The owners of the first six to cross the finish line won prizes.

The event raised more than $5,000 for the Splash Park and the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
