CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) – Carbondale Police are looking for the driver of a silver sedan that hit a pedestrian and then left the scene.

It happened around 1:50 a.m. Saturday along eastbound Route 13.  The pedestrian is expected to survive.

Carbondale Police say the silver, four door car with dark windows likely has noticeable damage from the crash. Anyone with information that could identify the driver is encouraged to contact Carbone Police at (618) 549-2121.
