WEST FRANKFORT, Ill. (WJPF) – A Franklin County civic leader has passed away.

Donna Sue Bozarth died Sunday, October 1, at the age of 87.

Bozarth served on the Franklin County Board for many years, including a stint as board chair.  She was also the supervisor of Denning Township and was involved with the Crosswalk Community Action agency.

Services are being handled by Union Funeral Home in West Frankfort.
