WOODLAWN, Ill. (WJPF) – A nine month investigation has resulted in child pornography charges being brought against a Woodlawn man.

Police say their investigation into Douglas Farris’ online activity began in June 2022 when they received an anonymous tip.  After months of combing through digital records from various internet and social media platforms, the 28-year-old Farris was arrested  Friday, July 7 at his home.

His bond has been set at $250,000.
