CHICAGO, Ill. (WJPF) – A Chicago man has been charged with threatening to kill the Republican candidate for governor, State Senator Darren Bailey.

Scott Lennox, 21, faces one count each of threatening a public official, telephone harassment, and harassment by electronic communications.

Police say Lennox admitted that he left Bailey a threatening voicemail.
