FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ill. (WJPF) — The victim of a fatal stabbing last week near West Frankfort has been identified.

Franklin County Sheriff Dave Bartoni says Dennis Martin, 50, was stabbed to death on the night of April 15. He was found dead at the scene.

Heath Dunning, 33, of Eldorado has been charged with First Degree Murder. He’s being held in the Franklin County Jail on a $2 million bond.
