CARBONDALE, IL. (WJPF) — A Carbondale man has been sentenced to 9 years behind bars.

21-year-old Jermaine Ross pleaded guilty to 1 count of Unlawful Use of Weapons by a Felon and Reckless Discharge of a Firearm.

According to prosecutors, in the early morning hours of May 12, Carbondale Police on foot patrol observed a group of over 50 people leaving a bar at closing time.
