JACKSON COUNTY, IL. (WJPF) – Authorities in Jackson County believe they have found the body of Dowell man who went missing two months ago.

43-year-old Billy Stroud was last seen January 17, 2019.

On Thursday, a search party found what they believe to be Stroud’s body in a remote area of Campbell Pond. A death investigation is now underway.
