The Gaege Bethune murder trial continues Tuesday in Jackson County.

Monday, jurors heard testimony from the two doctors that performed the autopsies on the body of Pravin Varughese.

The first autopsy in the investigation into his death concluded the cause of death was exposure to the elements. A second, private autopsy found evidence Varughese died of blunt force trauma.

Bethune’s defense questioned the validity of the second autopsy. Saying it had been performed several days after death and that the body had already been embalmed.
