A bill working its way through the Illinois House could mean a longer wait for you at the pharmacy counter.

House Bill 2392 would limit the number of prescriptions a pharmacist would be allowed to fill to 10 per hour.

It’s goal it to ensure consumer safety. But critics of the bill say it’s simply not realistic for real world applications.

The bill would also require mandatory breaks and prohibit pharmacists from working more than 8 hour a day.
