Three incumbents and one newcomer are running for three open seats on the Carbondale City Council.

Current Council members Jessica Bradshaw, Lee Fronabarger and Carolin Harvey hope to retain their seats for another four years.

Jeff Doherty, who previously served as Carbondale’s city manager, has also thrown his hat into the ring.

The election will take place April 4.
