SALINE CO- A Stonefort woman has died from her injuries following a single vehicle crash.

Reports state that on Friday morning, around 9:22 am, Britney Deaton, 29, was driving her truck on US 45 near Carrier Mills.

Deaton had passed two vehicles travelling the same direction, and attempted to return into the lane. She had lost control, struck a mailbox and drove into a ditch where her truck overturned.

Deaton was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene by the Saline County Coroner.
