JOHNSON CO- A woman is facing prison time after she is convicted of lying to police about a fake abduction.

A judge sentenced Joyce Gibbs of Desoto to two years in prison on Tuesday.

Last year, Gibbs pled guilty to disorderly conduct.

According to outside sources, Gibbs called the Johnson County police in October of 2013. She claimed she had been kidnapped at gunpoint and sexually assaulted while taken to Ferne Clyffe State Park.

Authorities determined the story to be false after they realized that Gibbs was not consistent with her story. It was later found that the abduction never happened.
