A former employee in the Williamson County Circuit Clerk’s office has been sentenced to prison time for stealing thousands of dollars.

Cheryl Cundiff, a former Deputy Clerk was accused along with two other women of stealing around $80,000 in cash bond payments. The plot had reportedly been going on for more than five years.

Cundiff pleaded guilty yesterday to one count of official misconduct, a class 3 felony, and one count of theft, a class 1 felony.

Cundiff has been ordered to pay $25,000 in restitution to Williamson County.

The other two women, Kelly Trammel and Marsha Dickinson will be back in court in April.
