A house fire yesterday in Tamms has left one person dead.

Authorities say the fire broke out early Wednesday morning, and that many of the people living in the home were able to escape.

One person, 65-year old Billy Dunning was not.

The fire is not believed to be suspicious, but no other immediate details were available.

Authorities are not sure why Dunning was not able to escape the fire.
