Two people were injured in a crash which took place early Saturday morning.

The accident happened on Harco Road in Saline County at Mt. Moriah Road around 5:30 am. The driver, 18-year old Kyle Eichorn of Elizabethtown hit a guard rail, then swerved into oncoming traffic. Eichorn and a passenger were removed from the vehicle by first responders and flown to an Evansville hospital.

Harco Road was shut down until 1 pm, while officers worked to re-create the scene.
