Marion, Ill. – Brandon Zanotti is the new Williamson County State’s Attorney.

Zanotti was unanimously chosen as the next Williamson County State’s Attorney by the Williamson County Board earlier this morning. Zanotti is from Johnston City and most recently an arbitrator with the Illinois Workers Compensation Commission.

He holds degrees from SIU and Washington University.

Charles Garnati is stepping down after 30 years in office. He is reportedly leaving to go into private practice, but also has some health concerns.
