Two fires in a three-hour span kept the Marion Fire Department busy yesterday morning.

The first call came in around 12:36 am for a fire at a mobile home park on Princeton Court. The mobile home on fire was vacant, but the cause of the fire is still under investigation by the Marion Police Department.

The second fire occurred around 3:45 am in an apartment building in the 1100 block of Midway Court.

Two rooms were on fire in one of the apartments. No damage was done to the building, and there were no injuries, but the State Fire Marshal has been called in to investigate what caused the fire.
