Harrisburg, Ill. – A man is in custody after leading police on a chase across multiple counties.

Police did not release the name of the male suspect, but police say he fled a traffic stop in Harrisburg around 4 p.m. Tuesday and drove through Pope, Williamson and Johnson counties.

He was eventually arrested around 5:30 p.m. by Creal Springs police in Pope County.

Police say the suspect had an outstanding warrant in Jackson County for failure to appear in court for a DUI.
