Carbondale Police say they’re investigating a home invasion in which a resident was injured.

It happened around 8:00 Friday night in the 2800 Block of West Kent Drive.

A press release states that the suspect entered the home, stole property, and battered a resident inside the home. The injuries requiring medical treatment.
