Democratc gubernatorial candidate JB Pritzker he been endorsed by the Illinois Federation of Teachers.

The IFT is the largest union to so far issue an endorsement.

Federation president Dan Montgomery says Pritzker’s history of supporting education and his promise to back both organized labor and a graduated income tax were major factors in the their endorsement.
