A Carbondale police officer received minor injuries in a crash yesterday.

It happened around 1:50 p.m. West Mill and South Forest streets – authorities say a driver was trying to turn left and did not see the police car because of a truck passing by.

Both the police officer and the other driver received minor injuries.
