Herrin Police searching for robbery suspects

Police in Herrin are asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspected of robbing the Casey’s General Store there.

It happened around 4:30 AM March 16.

Surveillance footage shows two men entering the store. One of the men slides the clerk a note.  She then opens the cash register and gives him the money inside.

One suspect is described as a black male with a heavy build around 6 feet tall. He was seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and white shoes.

The second suspect is described as a white male around 6′ feet tall with a medium build. He was seen wearing a black hat, a dark tee shirt, dark pants and brown shoes.

They fled the scene in black or dark blue older model Lincoln.
