A Marion man is behind bars after controlled substances were found during a traffic stop in Energy.

According to Energy Police Chief Shawn Ladd, members of the Energy Police Department’s Drug interdiction and K9 team discovered a strong smell of cannabis.

Further investigation led to the discovery of more than 80 grams of cannabis, varying amounts of cocaine, as well as Xanax and around $1,800 in cash.

Arrested was 23-year old Darien Williams-Wright. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance, manufacture and delivery of cannabis, as well as possession of drug paraphernalia.
