A Hurst man is behind bars after an incident early Friday morning.

The Hurst Police Department says 34-year old Benji Howell allegedly attacked a man inside a tavern around 12:30 am Friday, and broke a tail light on the victim’s vehicle as the person tried to get away.

Howell was arrested Saturday night in Hurst, and was charged with battery and criminal damage to property.

Howell was incarcerated in the Williamson County Jail.
