A Carbondale man is behind bars after being found in possession of a stolen truck.

Police in Massac County found 43-year old Scotty Cooper driving a truck on Interstate 24 that was stolen from Herrin. Cooper was arrested and charged with Driving on a Revoked License and being in Possession of a Stolen Vehicle.

Cooper is incarcerated in the Massac Co. Jail awaiting a bond hearing.
