Four men have been indicted by a grand jury in Union County on charges in connection with a string of church burglaries, according to Union County State’s Attorney Tyler Edmonds.

21-year old Garrett Green of Creal Springs was indicted on two counts of both burglary and theft.

22-year old Aaron Henderson was indicted on four counts of burglary and two counts of theft, one of which is a class 2 felony, and another one which is a class 4 felony.

20-year old Kaleb Terry of Marion was indicted on six counts of burglary and four counts of theft, three of which are class 4 felonies and one is a class 2 felony.

22-year old George Smith of Herrin was indicted on six counts of burglary and four counts of theft, all of which are class 4 felonies.

 

Break-ins had been reported at churches in Creal Springs, Saratoga, Mill Creek, Dongola, Anna, Buncombe, and Goreville in December.
