At approximately 1:30 AM, the Murphysboro Police Department responded to a report of a domestic disturbance.

A complaint was signed against 20 year old Kenneth Bastien of Murphysboro. Bastien was taken into custody without incident and was subsequently served with the aforementioned complaint. Bastien was transported to the Jackson County Jail where he was held without bond.
