West Frankfort, Ill. – A man has been found guilty of aggravated battery for setting his ex-girlfriend on fire two years ago.

30-year-old Christopher Rollins of West Frankfort was on trial for dousing his ex-girlfriend with a flammable chemical used to make meth and then igniting it, causing severe burns in August of 2012. News 3 reports the ex-girlfriend, Tessa Leech, told them Rollins asked for a plea deal, but Leech refused.

Rollins could see anywhere from six to 45 years in prison when he is sentenced November 18.
