Three Carbondale men were arrested on Tuesday.

25 year old Timothy Thomas was arrested on armed robbery charges after police responded to the 500 block of East Willow Street after learning that Thomas approached a person showing a handgun and demanding money.

24 year old Phillip Howard and 26 year old Sharika Smith were also arrested at the scene due to the fact that they both had warrants for their arrest in Alexander County.
