Jackson County Deputies responded to a traffic crash around 10:30 pm on Saturday night.

 

23 year-old Lael Fraedrich of Cobden was heading Northbound on IL Rt. 127 when the vehicle left the roadway, struck the side of a bluff, and then rolled over.

 

The crash was located about ½ mile North of Tom Cat Hill Road outside of Pomona.

 

 

Because she wasn’t wearing her seatbelt, Fraedrich suffered serious injuries and was taken to the hospital, later to be transferred to a St. Louis area hospital.

 

An accident reconstruction officer was called to the scene and an investigation into the crash is ongoing.
