Johnston City, Ill. – A man will be sentenced in September after pleading guilty to causing a wreck that left a woman confined to a wheelchair and severely injured another.

19-year-old Devin Glisson of Johnston City pleaded guilty to a felony charge that carries a possible sentence of three-to-seven years in prison or probation.

The charge stems from the accident in August 2012 in Johnston City. Police say Glisson missed a 90-degree turn and slammed into a tree sideways.

17-year-old Kassidy Mauk was a passenger and suffered severe head trauma, causing her to be in a coma for 70 days.

The other passenger suffered a broken back, collarbone, chest and knee.
