West City, Ill. – A bicyclist has been hit and killed by a pickup truck in West City.
The coroner’s office says 59-year-old John Bruegge Jr. of Benton sustained skull fractures in the crash Tuesday morning and was declared dead at a hospital.
No charges have been filed against the truck’s driver but the coroner and other local authorities continue to investigate.
