State Representative Races Remain Uncontested After Filing Deadline

Springfield, Ill. – The deadline for Democrats and Republicans to name candidates for the November election has passed.

The deadline to name candidates for the November ballot that did not appear on the March primary was Monday and Republicans did not field candidates to run against State Representatives John Bradley, Brandon Phelps or Jerry Costello II in their respective districts, according to the Illinois Board of Elections website.

Terri Bryant won the Republican primary for the 115th District. Bill Kilquist won the Democratic primary for that district.
