SIU has two new department Deans.

Both Laurie Achenbach and Dafna Lemish served as interim deans for their respective departments since 2012. The Board of Trustees officially confirmed Achenbach as the dean of the College of Science and Lemish as the dean of the College of Mass Communication and Media Arts at Thursday’s meeting.
