The Missouri Valley Conference is holding a two-day summer check-in teleconference with all 12 league coaches this week. On Monday, SIU coach Scott Nagy spoke to the media. The Harrisburg Bulldogs picked up a huge win at Carterville in Week 6 of the season, pulling off a 66-yard pass late to secure a 29-28 victory over the Lions. That puts the Bulldogs in the driver's seat for an SIRR Ohio Division conference title as they prepare to take on undefeated Murphysboro in Week 7.
