The Christopher Lady Bearcats are out to a hot start this season with a 9-1 record, winning all nine in a row.  Matt Varney talks with Coach Seiger Shurtz about that start to the season, Amiah Hargrove, their big game against Vienna on Thursday night, and what's to come during the Christmas break:

Mike Murphy, Scott Hudson, and Dave McKenzie continued their countdown to the high school football season beginning on Saturday.  A pair of area schools had to cancel their varsity football seasons, Masyn Winn's Cardinal debut, the struggles Adam Wainwright is going through in his final season, and more!

The Crab Orchard Trojans started the season at 5-0 and have since increased that win total to 6-0.  It was an easy choice for the first Team of the Week of the basketball season.  Matt Varney visited with coach of the Trojans, Jon Brown and discussed the team:
